A small, deliberately boring API. Ask it for a country code and it returns that country's standard rate, reduced rates and currency as JSON. There is no key to request, no account to create and no rate limit to negotiate.

It exists because every project that invoices across the EU needs this data, and the alternatives were either paid, out of date, or wanted registration for something that is a matter of public record.
